Funny how a little puddle of paint and water can cause such terror !... So many people tell me watercolor intimidates them, but there's no need to be afraid - it's just water, paint, and a piece of paper - honest! I will show you how to correct your mistakes or turn those whoopsie-daisies into original art so you can relax and enjoy the ride. I adore watercolor and it brings me a lot of joy and relaxation - I hope you will too! This class is both hands-on and is informative and fun! We do lots of experimenting but also learn how to create finished paintings. Class handouts , demonstrations and supplies are provided. Students learn to set up their own palette for painting at home between classes and try some of the many supplies in this area before buying them. A supply list is provided for those who want to know what to buy at the Art store to avoid confusion. We focus on how to start and finish a painting and how to gain confidence with the medium. Supplies are Included. I am happy to say that I have studied with some of the very best watercolor artists/instructors from Canada, the US and Italy - Harold Allanson, Stephen Quiller, John Salminen, Carla O'Connor, Leslie Redhead and Marco Klee Fallani - and they don't get better than this, in my opinion!
