Service Description
This course is for Complete Beginners ( ages 16 & up)! Learn the three stages of a drawing - from rough and good sketches and how to produc finished drawings. We will learn and use drawing materials (artist pencils, charcoal, Conte, professional erasers, and blending tools) and learn how to draw 3-dimensional forms. Learning to "see'', practice sketching & drawing regularly, and making mistakes is the first step to becoming accomplished. Supplies: Students bring their own 9 X 12'' sketchbook. Registrants will be given a supply list with recommendations. All other supplies are provided in the class. IMPORTANT: Students MUST be willing to dedicate 30 minutes per week to complete the required homework between classes. You will NOT learn how to draw in 16 hours ( 8 weeks) without doing the HOMEWORK and have it completed BEFORE you come to each class! You will have a week in between each class to complete the homework and it will be both fun as well as challenging. Students who miss classes or do not complete the weekly homework will experience frustration and poor results that the instructor is not responsible for.
