There seem to be lots of Art Journal classes out there, so why should you take this one? Learn from an artist who's Mixed Media Work has been in shows in Rome, Florence and Berlin. I make my own Botanical inks and hand carved stamps and studied how to make hand bound books in Florence. So let's take a deep dive into Art Journals and Mixed Media to explore drawing,collage/assemblage, acrylics, inks, watercolor, pens, pigments, coffee & tea staining, using unusual and common materials and making our own stamps ! This is a great way to use recycled materials and see how all those expensive art supplies work before you buy them. Students bring their own 9 X 12'' Mixed Media Art Journal to use so we can explore & create! All other supplies are provided! Note: his is addictive and so much fun... but hey, don't say I didn't warn you.
